got another 8 hours to go here, but now that ive got all the cooking out of the way its time to start on the beer and get the fireworks out. pretty much having an open house here tonight. got a shed full of beer and expect i wont be feeling to good tomorow

I plan on taking more vacation time and just spending more time on myself. I want to grow a better garden this year, which is hard as it has to be container (my townhouse doesn't allow us to ruin the grass), but I want to cook with a lot more fresh ingredients.
Other than that, put more money away. I'd like to retire around 50 (still 20 years off, but I can hope), and just enjoy my time. I've got a good job now so I want to be able to just relax more and not stress out over things.
Oh, and the ever-present, everyone-wants-to lose weight resolution.
Not sure what I'm doing tonight as I'm kinda pissed at my friend. We were having her and her daughter over and they'd stay the night, then we'd take them home tomorrow (she doesn't drive). Except on Friday she said "Oh, soandso is coming too and we'll do a potluck", so I started discussing plans with her about that. Then "Soandso isn't sure if she can come now, and I don't want to stay overnight". So I asked how she'd be getting home then, and she had assumed she'd be coming to my house for New Year's Eve, drink, then expected one of us to drive her home after midnight (across the entire city), meaning we couldn't drink.
... I just kind of hope I go home, drink champagne and play Torchlight tonight.
