Yes today 1/14/09 is Pi day. i'd like to wish you all a good one, maybe someone should make a pie for Pi day. I have a couple questions for you!

1.) Should Pi day be a national holiday?(Like you don't have to work, no school, even if it is Saturday)

2.) Do you celebrate Pi day? And if so what do you do?

I personally think it should be, and we should al celebrate by eating alot of Pi(e)

Err. No it shouldn't be a holiday and no I don't celebrate it. What is the significance of pi day? Is this the day they found to formula for pi or did they just pull March 14th out of their ass? And by the way you didn't enter March 14th as the date in your OP.

Edit: Oh, I see 3.14, my answer remains no and no still.

It's 3/14, by the way.

I celebrate Pi day be going out and buying the cheapest, most poorly made pie I can find and eating it with some friends. My math teacher shaved his beard into a Pi shape for it.

Bah, I misread the title as 'Happy P.I.' day.

I was hoping it was a day where everyone can dress in Hawaiian shirts with a Tom Selleck moustache, drive Ferraris and shoot bad guys in the back.

Begrudgingly, Happy Mathematics Pi Day.

I'm tempted to go and get Pi to the highest value I can.

Pi to 100000 digits.

As it's a "mathy" holiday, I answer, respectively:
No and no.
I agree with this by saying, No... just no... It would be completely ridiculous for schools and work to stop just because of a mathematical coincidence.

You celebrate Pi day Escapist style by playing the most number-y game you can think of.

Sadly I doubt it can be a national holiday over here, if only there was a fourteenth month
