At least Miku's music is far more peaceful and easier to relate to than Tupac's was and ever will be (even his post-death "lost tracks" were utter garbage). Sure they can do a different hologram than some mid-teen schoolgirl fetish that is some cultural thing in Japan (pedo much?), but the music is still serene.

Miku's all about the peaceful songs:
OT: Music industry's tough, especially among the holograms.

OK, video games or not, this is the kind of funny stuff this strip should do more of! One of my friends got her button rhythm-matching game and we were at his house for a party, and, having seen "her" before at FanimeCon, I asked "So she's a singing computer program. At what point in the process are we meat bags obsolete?" And there was much laughter.

Sorry Tupac hologram. You are only one... person?thing? whatever, and you stand no chance against the vocaloid mafia.
Whoa, what game are those guys and gals from? That looks kind of badass.

It's just fanart unfortunately. A small selection of vocaloids with guns. There's something like 50 in total now. More if you include fan characters.

Lol.. just wow... it was like Mindless Self Indulgence, Evernesense and a Japanese school girl had a three way music baby. I'm disturbed and delighted.

Thanks

That's not all she's done. 2-D from Gorrilaz woke up with a horse head on his pillow.
Isn't that normal procedure for living in the same house as Murdoc, though?

There certainly is no California Love between those two.
Man, it ain't nothing like a Gangster Party...

OT: I'm sure Miku's just jealous that Tupac has a mother or something like that...

I see people claiming this is funny.....I don't see how. I see the connection....vaguely. 2pac was shot, they made a hologram of him, there's a popular hologram (vocaloid) in Japan called Miku...so therefore miku would shoot hologram pac????????
Fucking hilarious.....I guess???

That was a funny comic. I enjoyed it heartily, but not overly heartily, lest I get a panic attack.

Also, this whole Hatsune Miku on David Letterman thing was weird, especially all the fans in the comments talking about how proud they were of her.

Catch Dave's "What the hell is going on" face, and remember he's done bits with Optimus Prime and Bevis & Butthead.

What the cunting shit did I just watch!?

(That said, your "can't even die with grace" note suddenly makes sense)
