HARD! games

i am in a rut
and i am completely bored with my chosen form of games
its because they are too easy ive found since i play a diverse set of games and they all bore me
so i ask what are some games that actually challenge you that i could get my hands on?

no old games since i cant get my hands on ps2 or below anymore

God of War can be quite challenging on the higher difficulties.


From what I've heard though, (I haven't actually played it) you can't really beat Demon's Souls in terms of difficulty. (see what I did there? You can't beat Demon's Souls? Because it's so hard? *ba-dum-tish*!......Yeah, I'll leave now.)

Oh and of course we can't forget those little moments when it seems like you've accomplished something like clearing a really hard room or just beating a boss when suddenly ... your game freezes before you get to save. Fun times.

Mirror's Edge. Not the game itself, but the Speed Runs (which is basically the game itself only on a timer). Prepare for pain.

Stuntman Ignition is an incredibly difficult game if you are going for 100% completion. Seriously, this game will make you want to punch a puppy in the face.

I'd suggest Dead Rising, or a Ninja Gaiden game from the original Xbox (still runs on 360). I wouldn't recommend Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, because it's very hard as a result of poor controls rather than difficult gameplay. It's certainly the hardest game I've played on 360 in a while, though.

This guy gets it right! W.A.W is definitly the hardest Call of Duty I have ever played on Veteran difficulty

If you've got ten extra bucks then you can get STALKER Clear Sky off of Steam. Although it may not seem that hard, it is actually really, really hard. The enemies are made out of depleted uranium and Adamantium, your bullets do fuck all, even when you get a head shot, and you are always, and I mean always, outnumbered five to one. Guns and ammo are expensive, medical supplies are nearly impossible to find outside of stashes and traders (for a couple hundred rubles a piece), and don't even try and get a decent set of armor that doesn't cost you your soul. It can actually get really fun and enjoyable once you get into it.
