Ah, thank you - I did look through the list but I guess I missed that. A great song, but not my fave from Bastion. Still, glad to see the recognition!

What a bloody awful list. No Castlevania? Nothing by Akira Yamaoka? I refuse to acknowledge this list as anything relevant.

Well, obviously, because Castlevania is a Japanese game, and Akira Yamaoka is a Japanese composer. This is about western music specifically.

You may as well go onto a list of the greatest music produced by Asian games and complain that Johnathon Coulton was never mentioned.

I was an Atari kid, so I never came near a C64 and never heard Monty on the Run until its appearance in I Wanna Be The Guy (it's the final level music, and the only one I didn't recognize). After hearing the whole thing I immediately put it on my MP3 player. It is an incredible piece of work. Glad it got such a high ranking.
