Hardest acheivment/trophy EVER??

It could possibly be one of the worst achievements to get ever. It doesn't rely on skill or strategy like other hard achievements but on pure luck XD

The acivement is terrible. I can only get 1 "Jacks hammer" in my game, but the only way I get Skorms justice is by trading Jacks hammer... Defeating the entire purpose, unlee you find people who are generous and dont care about the achivement. Also some people will just tae our stuff and quit.

I've managed to get 25 weapons, but don't hold out much hope. I have 2 bonesmashers and 2 trollblights. Need ether of those, free?

Look mate no need to be like that, I was well aware that there have been posts like this in the past and there probably will be more just like it in the future.

But as you may have noticed, if your a regular Escapist user, the online community here has been growing and although it may not look it (due to my pathetic post count ) ive been using the Escapist for several years now.

So do you not think its fair to re-post similar topics from time to time, to let those who couldnt post on it last time share thier views, and let newcomers post on topics they find interesting? I mean hell were going to run out of decent ideas for posts eventually right? May as well makes use of the ideas we have.

So before shouting "SEAARCH-BAAR" at anyone you please just because you may have seen a similar post in the past, just think about how mutch of an idiot you sound when you do.

One in Half-Life 2 where you need to get through "Sandtraps" without stepping on the sand. It'd be easier if:
a) you could see ur own feet
b) you didn't keep slipping off the debris you need to move around to make your own path
c) it didn't have physics puzzles slipped into the middle of it for no good reason. seriously, who builds a rickety see-saw between two rocks in the middle of an antlion-infested beach? bridges work too ya know!

one from the cell-shaded Prince of Persia, where you have to find all 1001 light seeds. not so much difficult, just fucking tme consuming!

All you need to do for the sand traps one is Save every time you get to a new rock or platform. makes super easy and pain in the ass free.

I agree whole-heartedly. I have tried for this achievement several times. Thought I had it more than once. No such luck. Difficult to even tell if you are doing it correctly.

One of the most horrible achievements ever - forces online, forces you to trade, plus many weapons are far too rare.

Honestly, if anybody has any weapons they can give me, I'd appreicate it. I'll never get the achievement otherwise.

I learned early on not to even attempt 100% on Fable games.

Some of the chromehounds leaderboard medals were impossible legit. because of this the game ended up being ruined by POS boosters and the devs eventually turned off the online servers after they saw what a mess the boosters had created.

This, right here, is the problem with Achievements being linked to a transient service, such as live.

theres a trophy in gran turismo 5 for doing all the endurance events, theres one that is literally a 24 hour race on le mans, i image thats gruelling

You know what, I'd give it a shot if I could get gold in all the licences and special events first, but most of them seem beyond impossible to me. And I have been playing racing sims for many many years.

The Irony achievement in Bioshock, now it doesn't seem like a challenge since by that point in the game a single Houdini splicer is no challenge for you, but this was a different splicer..it was Sander Cohen. Now I'm not saying the fight was hard, but the mere fact that it's Cohen makes killing him such a hard task, anyone who's played Bioshock will know what I'm getting at. He's such an interesting and hilarious character in such a bleak depressing world, he's the only character that I actually wanted to hear talking on and on no matter how creepy it go he was just awesome. What really makes it such a pain to kill him is when you attack Cohen to get the achievement he's just in his room in the heights with two splicers dancing to music the splices nor him attack you, it really really puts you at ease but you know that to get 100% you need to kill him..the man that makes Bioshock such a beautifully dark, and darkly beautiful game.

That my friends was why that is the hardest achievement to get, if you really get immersed in the world of Bioshock Cohen becomes a really great character and one you want to keep around and the one you wish was on your short wave radio. I still can't get over killing him, never getting to be called Little Moth or listening to his masterpiece.. ;_;
