Videogaming is sometimes not an easy hobby. You're looking forward to two games, and then one game us coming out later/sooner than expected, namedly, far too close to the other game to get them both at launch. Or the next generation of consoles comes around-which one do you back!? Or that new dlc is on the xbox marketplace, but they finally released a proton pack prop for you avatar! What do you do, man? WHAT DO YOU DO!?

Ahem. My one is still in the process of being made. I have been looking forward to Both warhammer 40k space marine and dead island for longer than I care to remember (seriously, I was following dead island news way back when it was initially announced, around three years give or take, now). Would you believe it? They are both. Coming out. On the same. Gorram. Day. A couple of days before I move to uni. So I can't possibly afford to get both.

Excuse me.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...

I'm beginning to lean towards space marine, but it'll be damn hard to leave my ideal zombie game behind.

Get Space Marine. At the very least, the multiplayer will give it some staying power until you can afford Dead Island. Of course, by the Skyrim and all the November rush might be out.

I recently had a choice like that to make. I had to choose between getting Portal 2, or Mortal Kombat.

I had pre-ordered both, but I forgot that the came out on the exact same day. I was near-broke at the time. So when I got to the counter to pay, I had to make a decision...

...so I chose to not eat for a few days. Don't look at me like that.

I usually get my games long after launch day, after they got a few patches in.
Playing games on launch day nowadays is downright masochistic.

Wait for special offers and get them cheaper, later, when you have the time.

Yeah, but the uni I'm going to may or may not block xbox live. Does it have split screen? Anyone know?

But...I've already waited years dammit! YEARS! IS IMPATIENCE THAT MUCH OF A CRIME!?

Anyway, most of the games I've bought on launch this year (which is odd, I used to buy pre owned games often, but this year I tended to buy new and a little less often, and I seem to have more cash, funnily enough) only homefront and brink seemed to have major day one problems. Fun fact: earth defence force insect armageddon an obscure budget game only getting a limited uk release was actually damn near perfect on day one. Shows those big companies and franchises, huh?

I had to choose once between Alice: Madness Returns and LA Noire. I chose the first one, then traded it in and got LA Noire.

I am currently facing a hard decision. I have yet to complete Fallout:NV as a supporter of the NCR but I have sprained my thumb from killing zombies on Black Ops excessively. Do I give in to my desire and play Fallout and risk injuring my thumb more, or do I find something else to do that doesn't involve using my hands? It is a dilemma!

You probably could if you decided not to drink during Fresher's Week. Makes it rather hard to get to know people... As a non-drinker, I should know. Still, a game lasts longer! And I still made good friends. :)

I haven't had any impossible decisions in regards to gaming... At least, none I can remember. However, I am going to have to choose between Skyrim and Skyward Sword. A month ago I was leaning towards the latter; but I have played so much Zelda (Wind Waker and Twilight Princess) since that I am GETTING Skyrim. No contest.

I suppose it was difficult choosing whether or not to spend all of the money I had (when I was 15) on a PS2 with Final Fantasy X and X-2. I decided to go for it! I'm glad I did, too. I don't like X-2, but I love X so much that nothing could have stopped me from playing it.
