Hardest Video game bosses

Terra (The Enigmatic Soldier) and the Data battles against Organization XIII in Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix far outclass both of these battles in terms of difficulty, I found, so I think this list pretty much sums up the hardest bosses in the Kingdom Hearts series.Arayis said:
Also, forget no RPGs. Having to use a bunch of items or level grind is the mark of a truly difficult boss. That said, the only boss I've ever (ever) had to grind to beat was...goddamned Kuchinawa from Tales of Symphonia. Mostly due to the fact that you have to fight him alone with Sheena.

The last boss in Shadow of The Colossus. But the absolute winning prize goes to The Lord of Darkness in Ninety-Nine Nights.
Elizabeth Greene, anyone that recently played Prototype will agree with me. Though she isn't THAT hard, she's just increadibilly annoying.
I always thought this one was reasonable, as if some kid with a giant key which is called a blade and yet is blunt and wears clown shoes could beat Sephiroth >_>megapenguinx said:

The fucking Pandemonium Warden from FFXI. Jesus Christ, that was impossible. I'm all for a challenge, but that thing took it too far. I believe they had to patch it so that it was actually a bit more possible.
the last boss in MGS3, not because she was actually a hard person to beat, just because there was such a small time limit on it! *get her down to near enough no health, EVERYTHING blows up*

Spikey Tiger in Secret of Mana - 7/10
Ultimate Donkey Kong in the '94 remake - 5/10
Zophar in Lunar 2 - 10/10
Dr. Wily in Megaman 7 - 9/10
To this formidable parthenon, I will add Dark Samus from Metroid Prime 3. 10/10 on Hyper difficulty, somewhat less on Veteran. Three phases. No checkpoint in between. On a time limit. The last two are only vulnerable at certain times. Yet despite this, the 1st form is the hardest of them! DS is leagues beyond anything she pulled in the previous game, likely to run your Phazon metre up to half before retreating even if you know her attacks well. Did I mention she's got a move that heals her? At least the 2nd phase is something of a breather, as it drops recovery energy... on VETERAN.
