I've heard Cats in the Cradle. It's alright.
Is there some reason I should hate him I'm not aware of?
Littaly please do look up his songs but do so woth a pinch of salt. I absolutely adore some of his stuff and dislike the other stuff.

and MaxTheReaper there's no reason to hate him, I just didn't think many would know who he is.

Yeah, I know the guy. Cats in the Cradle, Sniper and Taxi are probably his most famous songs, and also my favorites along with the slightly less known Mr Tanner.

If you have any interest in his songs, I recommend you look up the ones I wrote in my first post.
I would love your feedback if you do.

Harry Chapin was an amazing singer, easily one of the greatest I've ever heard. Cat's in the Cradle is probably his most famous, but he's got much better if you ask me. My personal favorite is Corey's Coming, his song about the old man living in the train yard. A live version (the studio version is even better) [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMjvLFONcyo]. It always bring a tear to my eye, and a smile to my face. The odd thing about him is, even though a majority of his songs are sad, and semi-depressing, he was actually a very optomistic person, a quality that comes across in some of his songs. It's a shame he died so young.
