As November 2010 and July 2011 bring the last books in the Harry Potter franchise to the big screen, author J.K. Rowling implies that more adventures in the world of Hogwarts could be in store.

Rowling appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show today, and when she was asked if she will ever write another Potter story again, she said: "They're all still in my head. I could definitely write 8 or 9."

EW.com spoke with Rowling as well. Their take on it? Rowling is definitely open to writing "an eighth, ninth, tenth" Potter novel, though she quickly followed up by saying, "I feel I'm done, but you never know."

So potentially three more Potter novels?!

- WBWhat's in store for the future of Harry Potter? Now, that's not 100% confirmation, but given that both the creator of this world and its fans are quite passionate about anything Dumbledore and Potter-centric, it's a safe bet to make some room on your shelves for these books.

And if we get three new books, yep, we're gonna get three new movies. But what could they be about? Hogwarts: First Class? Dumbledore Begins? Future adventures with the Big Three?

Discuss.

*As long as we don't find out that magic is caused by midichlorians, I think we'll be alright.

Unless it's another film like the snorefest known as Half-Blood Prince. I get enough teenager problems at college, I don't need them polluting my films too!

Thank you.
That movie was awful. It was not fun to watch and strayed far away from the book in my opinion.

Gotta agree there, I liked the book (Although I have preferred the books much more than the film so far anyway.) I am quite looking forward to the next 2 though, they should be better as they are actually bothering to make it in two parts instead of cramming it all in one and missing out all the good bits.

EDIT: OT: I am not that bothered on there being more books, I thought the ending to 7 was pretty damn solid and adding more will probably just ruin it.
