lol, what?!

I guess the only way games affected my relation ship is by not having me go out more to actually get them as much as I like. Though I did meet this hauntingly beautifull girl once who claimed she was into games almost as much as I was. But she eventually went home with some other boy that night. Im starting to think she just said that to sweet talk me.

Oh well.

Games affect my relationships in that I typically either give them a lot less time or completely discontinue playing them in favor of spending more time with my girlfriend.

Gaming heads to the back of the bus in favor of relationships with me, typically.

ironically, the typo in the thread title makes it the opposite of this topic.

"effected your relationships" - caused them
"affected your relationships" - changed them (and judging by the OP's story, ended them)

anyway - no, they haven't. i've made a lot of friends through gaming though.

I lost all of my friends in tenth grade to Diablo II. ALL OF THEM. And because I didn't play it they wouldn't hang out with me or talk to me, because all they wanted to talk about was Diablo II and all they wanted to do during hangout time was play Diablo II and it drove me fucking mad.

Thankfully they all eventually realized that the game was SHIT and came back to me.
