Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy Crisis Core.

...you know what parts; I don't even need to say.

For all those who don't, though:
Play those goddamn games you fool.

I have played a few games in which I did felt sad after certain scenes. But I don't think I ever really cried. I did come close though.

Valkyria Chronicles:

When Isara died
Ninja'd. I completely lost it when

Rosie sang at the funeral

If any of my favorite characters in ME2 had died i might have been upset, but no-one died on my assault, so no crying for me yet.

I think the closest I've came that i can remember was the ending of Red Dead Redemption, i honestly did not see that coming, especially since i had never cared about any of Rockstar's characters before that game...

When I tried EVE Online and it kicked me in the nuts, and told me that I would never amount to anything in life.

A single manly tear was shed watching the ending cinematic of the Orc Campaign in Warcraft 3.

"No brother... you freed us all..."

Nope, never. The ending to Portal and Half-life 2: Episode 2 were pretty darn sad though.

EDIT: Actually, I think the whole Half-life 2 world is sad for some reason.. It's so lonely and stuff..

I came close during that one scene in Gears of War 2. You know the one. I was like "when did this game start resonating on a level other than 'BLOOD! YAY, BLOOD!!!'"

Also Silent Hill 2. The whole damned thing.

And Killer 7. It was like "What is happening? Wait, what? HOLY CRAP! *BWUHUHUHUHUHUHU*"

When I was about 10 years old I accidentally deleted one of my Pokémon saves. It wasn't necessarily the game itself, but after having built the attachment to all my trusty Pokémon only for them to disappear in the blink of an eye was just too much.

Final Fantasy 7

Metal Gear Solid 3

When the Boss died

Shadow of the Colossus

When Agro (supposedly) died.
I'm sensing a theme here. I'm with you on MGS 3

One of my first memories was sitting with an uncle who died when I was nine, playing final fantasy 1 and having him read the scrolling text along with me when you cross the first bridge and really start the game. Whenever I play through that again now, in any incarnation it gets me somewhat emotional.

From a game itself though... Hm. Final Fantasy 2(4) had me real upset when Polom and Porum died, though I don't think I actually cried over it. Final Fantasy 3(6) did a similar thing with Cyan finding his family dead.

Very few early games tried to touch on emotion like that which is why I think I jump to just Final Fantasy games. Since then, there have been a lot that really tried to touch a nerve with you, but as I got older I could appreciate the drama of the moment without it really upsetting me.

I teared up by the end of passage. Though all you really need to do to get my tearin up in a game would be to play Air or Adaigo for strings, so yeah Homeworld got me too.

Does tearing up count?

I watched the JAP audio track[/youtube]
Dude, if this got you (me too, by the way) then you need to watch the anime episode where Jiriaya fights Pain.

I've never fully cried, but I get a little teary eyed whenever Aeris dies and the scene in Gears of War 2 with Dom. It bothers me that people complain that he's nothing but a simpering little twit at this part. Of course he is. Did you expect him to be manly macho man when he has to kill the LAST LIVING MEMBER OF HIS FAMILY?!

One time. The ending in A boy and his blob on the wii. The ending song was the absolute limit and I broke. And I've gotten depressed at a few games. ( Nier, Red dead redemption. for example. )
