Just thought I'd check for some first impressions, as us europeans haven't been able to get our hands on the game yet. Read some reviews, though, seems excellent.

As always us Europeans have to wait a bit indeed...
Well, there were a few exceptions, but nothing on note lately.
So from reading the reviews, this just can't go wrong.
But I'd like some hands-on gamer impressions as well!

Not that it REALLY matters, got mine pre-ordered and ready to drop on my doormat. ;)

I'm enjoying it, although I didn't get much time to play it yet before having to pass out for work the next morning.

I got a few cases in, got my feet wet, but overall I'm really liking the experience, its a nice change of pace and I'm really into the whole finding clues and interview stuff going on.

My 2 minor complaints thus far:

1: I solved a case before I was ready to solve a case, and the dialog involved was basically ruined as a result. Not to give anything anyway, but the game started talking about a person being "obviously guilty" before I had even gone to ask them any questions, this was the result of finding a game changing clue along with doing things out of order. Kinda broke my immersion, but its fine.

2: The "Truth, Doubt, Lie" question and answer time stuff can be a bit overly difficult. You ask question, person responds, they practically have a giant sign on their face to make you think they are lying, but you press them for more information and it ends up being the wrong choice...its not game breaking, because you don't HAVE to get every question/answer correct, in fact you can screw them all up, but I want to get them right, and it can be REALLY hard to correct guess which you should choose, and very often, you will be flat out guessing.

I look forward to playing it when I get home from work.

3 cuntgargling days... Fucking european release dates.

Time to start my Chords of Steel voice training! What you expect me to not shout Objection! Everytime i accuse someone of lieing?

Simulation:

"So as you can see..."

"Objection! It's obviously false evidence!"

CASE FAILED

Getting more and more excited.. Those do seem like minor issues, like you said.

This might be the first game I had too high expectations of.
