Has anyone noticed that Adam Sandler does and is the same thing in all his movies?

Have you seen Troll 2 or House of Blood (or any other bad horror movie ever made) I think there is someone there who deserves the prize more than some guy who's just not funny.

btw, my theory it that there is a guide that comes with Adam Sandlers contract to make sure he gets to make the same movie over and over.

Not necessarily true; Robin Williams for one plays a psychotic killer just as well as a funnyman. (i.e. 60 minute photo)

Yes, he's actually good at noncomedy roles. I just don't understand why he bothers with comedy. It always feels like he's trying & trying too hard.

Y'know, given that we have Nicholas Cage (always slightly goofy and off the rails), Sean Connery (Sean Connery) Willem Defoe (always slightly goofy and off the rails), Samuel L Jackson (Samuel L Motherfuckin' Jackson) and Robin Williams (always slightly goofy and off the rails) to choose from, Adam Sandler was pretty low on my list of samey actors.

That said, I find most of the above list pretty awesome, and that's not even going near Arnold Scwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, etc, etc.

Here is a list of of the stuff he does and is in his movies:
- Hes lovable
- He is always the good guy
- Hes funny
- Hes always and I mean ALWAYS hurting someone in ALL of his movies (seriously at a while it gets REALLY tiring to see him sucker punch every guy thats looks at him funny)
- He ALWAYS wins ( except in Funny People)
- There is a romance in ALL the movies.
- The bad guy is usually ganged up on and locked up somewhere while Adam makes out

He also seems to make rich people villians.
