Has Cerberus Network failed on me?

I usually don't take my questions to an online board, but seeing how popular ME2 is on these forums, I think I'll be able to get some help here.

*ahem*

On to business. I bought the ME2 CE, which includes that Cerberus Network card that lets you download DLC. So I redeemed the code, downloaded the Collectors Armour and Assault Rifle and installed it. However, now every time I fire up ME2, it says my DLC cannot be verified and that I need to log into Cerberus Network.

Strange thing is, I am logged in to Cerberus Network, seeing as that laptop thingy on the right of the menu opens up with news and all that jazz. But when I open my EA account, where I have DA:O registered as well, and I click on "Official DLC", it says I still need to get Cerberus Network and it asks me to redeem a code which I have already done.

I haven't got a second BioWare Social Network account, so that can't be it. Anyone else experiencing problems with Cerberus Network? I want to download Zaeed *sniff*

FIRST I would ask somewhere better than this forum, maybe somewhere like IGN where nerds can help you with anything.

Second I must admit I can't help you much. Try uninstalling and re installing everything, I'm sure you don't have to rebuy it.

Had this issue as well. Head to the EA support site (you can find it off the social Bioware thing) and ask them.

Although they told me they fixed it, but now it appears my university network has the ports blocked

Cheers, I'll head for the EA support site. I was hoping it would be a simple matter, I have bad experiences with support sites. Ah well, if that is what it takes. It'd be a shame to let that content go to waste.

Cerberus network is a bloody pain in the ass, I dunno why they couldn't just let us download shit from XBOX Live.

What you need to do is log onto the Bioware website and get your downloads that way, it took me a good 20 minutes to work out how to do it as it is badly explained in the manual.

Sounds to me as its your internet that is the problem... like said further up it maybe your ports or some stuff like that... though i didnt have any problem like that, check if your firewall is maybe blocking it ?

My son has the same problem on his game, says his data is corrupted and won't let him play, but will let him play with his hard drive in my room (my 360 is hooked up to the broadband router) but he shouldn't have to be signed in to Live just to play, surely?

I haven't had any problems with Cerberus Network so far. Though the constant nagging that I should be playing this offline single player game while being signed in online is really annoying.

Ok, I have a question for you.

Did you sign up for an EA account through dragon age?

if so, did you log on to the same EA account to redeem your ME2 codes?

I had an issue where I inadvertently created 2 EA accounts and could only tie my gamertag to one of them. They fixed it, after a week, but the first thing you need to do is figure out where the problem is.

Log into your EA account through the Bioware website, and check your Registered Promotions (I think that's what it's called). It should have a list of all of the DLC you've redeemed codes for, and above that should be your XBL gamertag.

If those things aren't true, then you need to contact EA and figure out what happened.

Try going to the social.bioware website and looking at your redeemed DLC. It should give you the option to download the files.

If not, you need to get ahold of EA. Their live chat feature helped me out.

It wouldn't have been a pain for me if I weren't a complete retard about making 2 accounts. I actually thought it was relatively painless, considering
