Hats:Are they back?

Is the hat back?I really want a hat (a trilby suits me perfectly,I've been told) but I'm not sure if they're back.Is it considered laughable to wear a hat?I mean,Yahtzee can wear a hat,and I have the same dress sense as him,(strangely,my new glasses are just like his.weird coincidence,huh?) but I'm afraid I can't pull it off as well as him.
In short: Is it good to wear a hat nowadays?(Preferably a trilby)

Trilby hats rule! Believe you me, a true trilby wearer worries not for fashion.

Trilbys have their own individual fashionabilty over here in Great Britannia, if that's any consolation (especially combined with a nice suit.)

I was thinking of getting a bowler hat if it suits me. I think it'd be fun
I'd wear it mostly for the fun factor of it, but if it would suit me, it would also look elegant I guess. But I rarely see people wearing hats today.
