There was a thread on the job board asking for voice actors, and while I don't think I managed to get my voice acting sample to her in time (I had classes, and apparently I wasn't the first one to see the thread, but it's still amazing what can happen in a matter of hours)
But I figured, why waste the effort, now I've got a quick vocal sample I can send around to anyone who posts something similar on here (I really want to improve my resume).
So, with the help of garage band I've converted it to an mp3 file and uploaded to a few websites, hoping I could find an easy to make it into it's own page so I could put it into a [/audio] box, but oh well.

The first half consists of lines from half life 2, ME2, and Bioshock. The second half, at around 8:00 is me singing, and I conclude with a bit from the producers, keep it gay.
What I'm asking is, what do you think? Do I have the chops to pursue a career in voice acting, singing? anything along these lines? Or should I wander off to an early grave of obscurity?
Keep in mind that this is essentially slapped together. I don't have professional equipment, my pop-screen no longer exists (socks are not as durable as I would have thought) And I didn't really go at it with editing software. Hell, if I made a mistake, I just kept going.
And since this is the job board, anybody out there need a voice like mine for a project of theirs?
So... Feel free to critique. I really would appreciate any input from anybody that has some to give, regardless of what light it paints me in.
