Have you ever beaten a game without dying once... on the first try?

Golden Sun DS. I'd played both the previous games and beaten them to a pulp so I was ready when it came out. I only really came close to losing a battle with the final boss, but I still managed to win.

Ghosts 'N Goblins. I was expecting something ridiculously difficult when I first played it, but it wasn't that hard at all.

There have been a few games where I haven't died from playing through properly. I just completed ACII without dying 'properly', but I did desynchronise a few times by accidents like falling off building (it could be fairly glitchy sometimes) or jumping out in front of someone when I was meant to remain ignognito.

I managed OoT, the Fables and Overlord too.

I know they don't really count, but I have played through the last four Smackdown vs Raw games without losing a match in the storyline mode.

Gears of War 2 and FEAR 2, I beated both of those on my first try, without dying and on one sitting.

Devil May Cry 3 and Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time. Devil May Cry 3 was played on the easiest difficulty which ended up being far too easy. It was still a lot of fun but I probably should've played it on the normal difficulty. I didn't die in Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time because I made sure to train constantly throughout the game, even then it was still a challenge.

DoW 2 Retribution. It was... Easy, very, very easy with the wargear. I just sent my heroes without units, then only 2 heroes, then went through the last few missions with only one hero. Was on normal difficulty.

You freaked me out with the first line there... then I read the easy difficulty. DMC3 is damn hard.

Both of the two first Assassins Creed games. (I use "death" loosely here, and count desynchronization as death for these two.)

Alpha Protocol. Not because it was easy, but because I got lucky a lot. (surviving with health in the single digits and regenerating my endurance while using first aid kits).

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. Mostly because that game is a bit too easy (even on Elite).

Persona 4. I owe it all to Chie and the rest of the Investigation Team, with their "I'll step in and take the hamaon for ya so you don't die"-actions. Saved my ass quite a bit.

Same but compared to the previous 2 games, finishing Golden Sun DS without dying first time round is not something to be proud of. The original games were so much harder and better for it.

Btw, you can't 'beat' games. Only 'finish' experiencing single player stories. Beating a game would require you to overcome every game mechanic as well as the story. Which is impossible. Try removing the shooting mechanic from FPS. Try 'beating' the game then.

Dragon Age 2. I've played through that game several times and have yet to see the game over screen. The closest I got was half my party dead, but everytime I hang on just long enough to kill the enemies. This should be taken with a grain of salt however, as I only play it on Easy mode.

probably none, i don't mind dying so i take rather high risks while playing and die a couple of times even in easy games. oh and i killed ezio a couple of times in ASCII, just to see him die.

Yeah. Devil May Cry 3 is borderline impossible on the hardest difficulty. I can't think of a harder challenge.

Try DMC1... That was just trolling the player.
