I have indeed been accused of such in the past, but I easily pointed out that I've no talent for it whatsoever and easily avoided suspicion- CONSEQUENCES!

yep, my CoD4 clan was having a Game Battles match where I jumped off of a staircase and knifed a dude in mid air. He said I was hacking because he didn't see me... Told him that he didn't see me because he was looking forward and I can from above and to the side, but he would have none of that and we had to wait for a judge while listening to them ***** about losing to "worthless hackers"

The only game i ever usually get accused of hacking on is APB, fools be hating a sniper on scaffolding shooting by a wall making it very hard to hit me.

I have a little count on the amount of times i've been called an Aimbotter with the Sniper, its at 11 overall.

I have a standing joke with a friend "Ha, Aimbots? Why would I want to lower my accuracy?"

Yea, a couple times.
Once was when I charged around a CSS map headshotting 5-6 guys (prefiring around corners really luckily 2-3 of those times). On winning the round, the voice chat of the dead players (teammates, no less) was telling one of the mods to ban me. If he had been paying attention, I would've been banned on the spot (they were clearly friends with the mod and server regulars) but luckily he was AFK.

But yea, if anyone accuses me of hacking I take it as a compliment.

In a game? Once. I promptly hacked the little bastards profile and showed him I was not to be trifled with. i was then kicked out for a while. Then I was accused alot and cause i had a record, mods constantly watched me.

In real life? Alot actually, though sometimes they were right. msotly it was to see my grades at school (since our school defense was pitiful), and to make some *ahem* minor adjustments just to make my teachers freak. and a few times because people were outrageous pricks and needed to be taught a lesson.

Please, this is a gaming website. A better question would be who HASN'T been called a hacker before.

I get accused of hacking all the time in shooters. Because apparently just being good at something (or your opponent being that awful) is enough to raise suspicion.

Of the many, many accusations... I think for the obligatory example I'll go with one time when I was playing Modern Warfare 2.

The map was Highrise. I was using the SPAS-12 (Foregrip, Ext. Magazine) (had a buddy drop it for me) for my primary weapon and the Glock-18 (Dual Wield, Ext. Magazine) for my secondary. Perks were Bling Pro, Stopping Power, and Steady Aim. I was primarily using the dual Glock-18s, switching to the SPAS-12 when ammunition ran dry. Yeah, yeah... I know, Glock-18s are "noobish" and all that jazz. Heard it all before, and frankly, find it stupid. If something is effective, you're only gimping yourself by not using it. Besides, I was tired of leveling up with the assault rifles and needed to blow off some steam. Anyway... I was doing pretty well that particular game. I had upwards of 30 kills with only 3 or 4 deaths by the end.

Around the time that I hit 10 kills, player REDACTED decided to start calling me out as being a hacker and insulting my "hacking ability" because I had to use the Glock-18s to make it work. I paused my warpath to inform him that I was not, in fact, hacking. He continued to rant for the rest of the game. His score by the end was 5 or 6 kills to upwards of 20 deaths. I got a chuckle out of that.

Most FPS gamers worth their salt get accused of hacking. I do on the occassions when I am in "the zone" and playing well.
Its mostly just ragers who can't accept that someone is better than they are.
I think it comes dow to them being in a bubble; they arent shooting you, they are shooting a virtual representation of you... ect ect.

It happened to me once in class when we where playing Counter Strike (come on, everyone have done that). I managed to get a double headshot with a sniper rifle, and they both accused me of hacking. To be honest, it was a really lucky shot, but I wasnt hacking

Yeah....lets see here;

In Halo....for Shotgunning too well

In Battlefield.....for being too good with the tank

In CoD......for not needing to spend a full magazine to hit an enemy

In TF2.....for wrecking with both the heavy and the Engineer

In Splinter Cell.....for being god damn good

There are a few more, but I think I've covered enough.

I got called a hacker on TF2 for the Xbox a while back when I was still good at sniping on it.The particular case, I was sniping a medic and lined up the headshot and killed him when his buddy came around the corner. Already having it on the medic's head and being at an angle, the soldiers head was already on the dot and I pulled the trigger. He sends me a message accusing me of hacking an aimbot because I knew he was there before he came around the corner and already had a headshot lined up... Lol...

On a related note, there was a guy hacking on TF2 for PC the other day (We proved this through having a completely invisable spy stand out on the battlements twice and both times he was killed with a headshot... Even though while spectating the Sniper, he shot in his torso region. Then he'd kill people immediately after they came around the corner and somehow knew every time someone was on his battlements even before they came around the corner. Continuing to spectate, he got headshots on about 99% of the people he killed by shooting them in the body but it gave him a headshot. Me and my friend cried hacker, and his entire team called us noobs and said "Don't accuse people of hacking just because you're bad" and then called hacker on someone on our team because he was in their spawn.

Funny thing is he wasn't a hacker, some engie just used a glitch to build a teleporter in their spawn. The hypocrisy of the situation was pretty overwhelming...

Yes, several times in Day of Defeat Source. I don't really blame them either, I have a weird habit in that game of getting insanely good sniper kills. I would love to call it skill but more often than not, it's luck. Thankfully this usually happened on my server when I still had one.

A few times yes. Wouldn't even consider myself that good at games but apparently some people do. Each to their own.

Yes, I've been accused. No, I didn't get banned. No, I never cheat.

I killed a guy from quite a distance with the Heavy's minigun. I was only trying for a little collateral damage as I could not get closer. The scatter mechanic sent several bullets right into his head, and pow, down he went. I was as surprised as he was. Of course he immediately started screaming about hax. There was a mod present at the time, I explained what happened, he said he was cool with it. Not much of a story, I guess.

It happens to me now and then in MW2. I recall that I also got banned from a Black Ops server (which was a awesome server because I had like 30-50 ping and it was only 12 players) because I was a unstoppable killing machine. A friend of mine gets accused of hacking a lot though because he's usually host in MW2 and actually aims before going around a corner. I always just take it as a compliment though and make fun of them.

all the time apparently no one can get 20+ kd on halo reach swat against Whinging 10 year old without having an aim bot
i get this so often. nearly every time i get a SWAT frenzy i get "wtf hax." i then point out that i missed a few shots and if he couldn't kill me after i miss the first shot it's his own damm fault

OT: one time back in halo 3 my teammates left on citadel so it was me and my sister (who is a pretty decent guest) against this party of 4 that was absolutely pathetic, to the point where the 2 of us were beating them something like 34-8. i killed one of them and heard him over the mike in an 8 y.o. voice "haxxor!!"
