Haven't been hacked, but have come across the occasional virus that I quickly got rid of.

Been trying to sell my car on craigslist, and I had one person pull the incorrect amount check scam and another try and get me to click a link to some no name insurance group claiming "My internet connection is slow. Will you check the site for me?".

My partner's WoW account was hacked not so long ago. Quite certain it was a key logger at a net cafe at which we'd played.

The account was restored after about a week, though not the gems in the gear (I think).

Well my only and I hope last experience with virus was tough one. It was basically a virus-adware-spyware-trojan which infected some files in the windows folder and constantly annoyed me with pop ups. I tried everything, even NOD32 couldn't get rid of it so I had to reformat. Thats was 3 years ago and I believe I got when i disabled my firewall when browsing through steam pages in steam which used Internet explorer 5 for browsing community pages.... Other than that I encounter quite a few hackers in CS:S and CoD games on a monthly basis But im quite careful, I never click weird links or fishing sites. There are sites that imitate steam and ask for your password.
