Have you ever invented a strange food combo?

I've never been one to innovate my food. Cooking with new spices is more or less the extent of my culinary exploration but this seems like a good place to bring up two very odd combinations I've come across in the last couple years.

One is Maple Syrup on Kraft Dinner. Invented by my friend Shorty1k. Odd combination, and an excess of syrup is a little too much for the pallet, but all in all an interesting taste.

Another is Pickle Brine and Straight Rye. Not so much a food, more of a drink preferred by my old college room-mate Bryant. Drink the Rye, then drink the pickle juice. You will never have an upset stomach, rough taste or hangover from your rye. Just bad breath and a lot of strange looks.

Uhhh, I don't know if it counts, but I can eat pretty much everything with garlic sauce.
At least every dish with meat in it.

Mmm, garlic <3

I used to put tea on anything breakfast related, like cereal with tea instead of milk, pancakes dipped in tea (which led to having melted butter in the tea which is delicious somehow), tea poured on waffles, eggs fried with tea and tea-dipped bacon. All delicious.

I still eat toaster waffles with peanut butter and maple syrup as well as hamburgers with maple syrup, potato chips, ketchup, mustard, cheese and bacon (Sure its a thousand calories a bite, but I plan on dying with a smile on my face ^^)O, and cream cheese on bacon, and then roll the bacon up into little balls and put them in salad, it is pure awesomeness

A friend of mine usually put ketchup on curry when we have that in school. She also had ketchup on pancakes.

When I was younger, I was constantly doing this...
Birthday cake and barbecue sauce
Potato waffles and syrup
Salad cream sandwiches
Buttered sausages are rather nice though.

When living as a desperate bachelor I discovered that Taco Bell mild sauce makes a pretty good marinade for cheap steak.

Egg Bagel with strawberry cream cheese with salmon. I love the taste of sweet meat in the morning.

Another combination is toast with butter and raspberry jam.

A friend of mine puts Mayonnaise on EVERYTHING. I'm not talking a thin spread either, I mean GOBS of the stuff on every conceivable food item with every single meal.

As for me, I once wrapped a slice of bacon around a piece of dark chocolate. Didn't work out that time, but there were others. Then there was that time I spilled tobasco over my ice cream... that was a good day. ^_^

Well M&Ms and skittles taste good together and so does cheese with sultanas
What are sultanas?
Wow, never thought I'd get asked that. Umm, they're like raisins but sweeter I think.
Looked it up, it's actually a grape. So it's really just raisins you're thinking of, though according to wikipedia the habit of calling the raisins the name of the grape is growing more common :p

melted cheese and peanut butter on salted crackers, you wouldnt believe it but it is a extremely potent energy boost food. its 5 of them and youll be able to run twice as long as you could originally and still have enough energy to have a party, lose a large chuck of your brain, and yet still have enough energy to clean of the mess you and your friends left...best and worst day ever... xD

Break open a creme egg and fish out the creme with a Kitkat... Only food-ish one I can think of. Though I did recently discover that Dandelion and burdock goes very well with vodka, as long as you don't overdo it with the latter.
