I won a load of Microsoft-related stuff (including a Kinect!) last month. It does happen, apparently.

I've won two contests that I can remember... In second grade, I guessed the right number of candy pieces in a big jar, so I got the whole thing. I didn't finish the 500ish pieces I got.

The second one was quite recent. I won the third prize of the Week of Freak contest on this site. Got a nice set of bluetooth earbuds from it.

Well, about eighteen years ago, I won this race where the winner got to live inside some kind of egg for nine months and gradually be transformed into a bigheaded giant.
