Magic Carpet series or The Legacy of Time Series?

These are two games that i have in my collection. Strangely though i only have the 2nd one of both sets. I loved them a lot but i have noticed that no-one seems to have heard of them. I personally think they are good games, basic but good. If you have played Myst, then that was created (i believe it was Red Orb) by the same people as The Legacy of Time. As for Magic Carpet, that was a Bull Frog game.

Legacy of time is a puzzle game where you travel around different time periods trying to piece together a mystery.
Magic Carpet is a stratagy game in some ways, where you go through the levels, collecting mana, and killing the creatures that attack, collect spells to shoot, and eventually try to kill the Demon Lord at the end with all of your collected knowledge.

So please, feel free to look them up if you havnt already heard of them, and give your oppinions (also, feel free to mention any games you have that no one seems to remember or have seen).

Is legacy of time known as the Journeyman Project?

actually, I just clicked the link and it is. I thought the first one was pretty great at the time. Played on my badass old 486/DX2. You can't fuck with my 400mb hard drive and 8 megs of ram.

I played a demo version of Magic Carpet 2 years ago. The control scheme was really wonky, and it was difficult to navigate, but I played those first two levels over and over again...

...once I figured out what everything was doing. I liked finding a desolate patch in the middle of nowhere to zap my castle into existence, then kill, claim, or destroy everything else on the map for enough magic to keep building it up. I always got a kick when I built it up enough to have multiple towers, concentric courtyards, and guards manning the walls.

Haven't heard of the other. On the other hand, something probably not many people have heard of...

An extremely deep roguelike, and one I still play every so often to this day.

I used to play Magic Carpet a lot on a friend's computer. Happy memories. I remember his brother being a complete god at it: he would just breeze though with practically no challenge.
