Have you noticed how horror games, or games in general on the PC seem scarier, for example, Head-crab Zombies scare the F*ck out of me when I am playing Half-life 2

Nope, never noticed that. I play DS, Xbox and PC, and I can honestly say that I've never had that thought...

Maybe it's because you're closer to the screen. And also, I usually wear headphones, which makes it worse.

Probably something to do with this.

Although I played Condemned on a big screen TV with surround sound and all the lights off and it scared me shitless.

I think its because of being closer to the screen, and maybe because my computer is in my bedroom... and I already feel like someones watching me when I have the window blinds open. Other people get the same feeling. So its a good place for scary games

I've noticed it. But then again, a lot of games can scare me. I can manage to scare myself in Fallout 3 fighting a ghoul if I have my headset on and all the lights are off.

I do notice that. I think it's something to do with the fact most people play console games on a sofa or bed, and thus are more relaxed.
