Blimey. I thought there were just two - a French one and an American remake. Looks like there were two remakes, but I'd still recommend the original 2008 film. A word of caution, though: it's some heavy, disturbing, unpleasant stuff.

it was a made for TV movie starring Criminal Minds's Thomas Gibson and Russell Wong as the monkey king. no giant robot lobsters but he does split open a serpent with a pen that morphs into a spear.
