Hello escapist's, recently I've made the purchase of Fallout 3: GOTYE off of Steam. as you could probably guess, now everything's been running fine, aside from some sort of odd graphical glitch that causes the right side of the screen to flicker for a few seconds.

I have no clue as to what could be causing this, but I figure the generally PC gaming affiliated community of the escapist would have an idea.

Please, only answers to my problem, I don't care much for your opinion on Fallout 3, or other's, I'd just like this problem solved.

What operating system do you use?
Windows Vista.
Ah, I know the problem.

Disable the sidebar.

It was doing that for me and I wondered what the problem was myself. After some research it appears the Vista sidebar screws with the game. Just right click and close it and it should work.

That was the funniest thing I've seen all day. It still didn't make any sense, but whatever.
