Hey all i am having a major issue in life right now.

I am a major Sun Flower Seed addict, i know this is a lame addiction but i need to have some everyday none the less. About 5 days ago i had my wisdom teeth taken out and the instructions say no nuts or things of that sort for 3 MONTHS OMFG!

I eat a whole 500g sun flower seed bag in a day, now i cant have any for 3 months, i been playing video games, trying to distract myself and a bunch of other stuff in an attempt to get my mind off of this addiction.

Escapist do you have any advice or tips to take me out of this cycle before i go mad because i cant have sun flower seeds, please i need your help so much.

Housework.

Seriously, if your withdrawals are that bad, housework will help keep your mind off them.
It works pretty well for me with the nicotine withdrawal symptoms, and those are pretty harsh.

Just switch to something different to quell your oral fixation. Gum, for example.

Also, I recommend you either stop eating that stuff or at least seriously cut down. Extreme intake of sunflower seeds can result in B12 toxicity and a... wood-free existence, which neither you nor your girlfriend would likely appreciate.

Thanks for the tip i didn't know that...I will look more into that, but the gum thing wont work because of my Wisdom teeth operation disallows me from having gum too.

Three months? I had my wisdom teeth taken out two years ago and my doctor said not to eat peanuts for about a month. Just do not give into temptation and get any sun flower seeds.

Maybe try to substitute sun flower seeds with something else.

people usually replace a vice with another

i used to be a drug addict and i quit cold turkey but in turn i now spend countless hours a day playing video games and im very surprised my doctor hasnt told me not to drink nearly as much caffeine as i usually do :p

i cant say its the best idea but youll end up having a new addiction sooner or later

Eat more chips and pretzels...the combines salt quantities in those items should equate the amount you get from a whole bag of seeds.
