what...what the hell did I just watch? I just and saw the movie Haywire and...it had to be the most boring, convoluted, uninteresting, uninspired plot I have ever had the misfortune to be subjected to.

Yet at the same time I have NO idea what I just saw! So can someone please explain who the characters were, what the storyline was and why I should care about them?

[i/] Beautiful freelance covert operative Mallory Kane is hired out by her handler to various global entities to perform jobs which governments can't authorize and heads of state would rather not know about. After a mission to rescue a hostage in Barcelona, Mallory is quickly dispatched on another mission to Dublin. When the operation goes awry and Mallory finds she has been double crossed, she needs to use all of her skills, tricks and abilities to escape an international manhunt, make it back to the United States, protect her family, and exact revenge on those that have betrayed her [/i]

is that the movie you saw?

also what the fuck is "The witcher 2" doing on the front page of IMDB?

Yeah i saw haywire last week . It felt kinda like a beginers movie . Like a movie a university student in film developpement made . It wasn't bad , nor was it good . But not worth 20$ ( since i paid for me and my gf because i'm a gentleman). It was very textbook in my opinion . Like it was made by someone who learned everything from class but had no real experience making movies . Also the ending was shit .

Did we see the same film?

I won't go so far as to call it the best film ever made and it certainly suffers by comparison to the most obvious yardstick (the Bourne trilogy) but I think it was competently made, the fight scenes were decent, Gina Carano acquitted herself well in her lead debut and the break with usual typecasting for Banderas and McGregor was a breath of fresh air.

The ending was not as good as it could have been, but I only spent £4 on my ticket and considered it money well spent.

This was not at all a bad movie. I enjoyed it.

It is a bit like the Bourne Trilogy but there is a different tone to it.
The music was very fitting and there are some good actors in this movie.

The story could have been better and the film lacks soul.

Entertaining, but nothing special.
