HDTV Problems

When playing my PS3 on my 42 inch TV, the grpahics don't look as good when I play it on my smaller 22 inch TV. With games like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, the lines around the charaters look all blocky, and it's not just with that game either. Please Help

Edit: I am using HDMI cables and it runs at 540p,720p,1080i and 1080p

what resoultions can your 42" run?? I had a TV that did 480p and 1080i ONLY.. and most games are 720p so the TV would downsize all resolutions to 480p and make it look not as good.

Also make sure you have the HD cables hooked up.. HDMI or Composite cables

Oh yea.. in the PS3 XMB setup section there is one for TV resolutions. So double check those to assure they are running the ones that your TV can run.

You have to set it to be HD in the settings menu.

Well, if everything is properly set up, I think it's worth mentioning this.

The picture is being stretched less on the 22 inch.

HD will look pixelated and grainy if stretched just like an SD image.

Try messing with the display settings on both your TV and PS3. And check what your TV is compatible with.
