But it turns out, you haven't been nice! :O
Lets say, you get abducted on the night before Christmas Eve and is then interrogated by Santa. Now, Ol' Kris Kringle says that your on the naughty list, but since he is Santa, he's willing to put you back on the Nice List IF you can give an example of one good thing that you've done this year.

So, my fellow Escapists, what do you say to him? Don't be fibbing now.

You know I can't think of anything, I know I've done good things this year, I mean for gods sake I work at a hospital training to be a doctor. But all I can think of is that old guy I gave five dollars for a coffee, but even now I'm questioning my motivation because I didn't do it out of the kindness of my heart, simply because I was wearing a suit and awkward if I didn't.

I volunteered at a local nature reserve for birds and helped watch over and catalogue their behaviour.

I can't honestly think of something that I did that was incredibly, over-the-top nice. But, honestly, I could be forgetting something. I'm one of those people who does the "little acts of kindness" things- holding doors open for people, helping people carry things if they're struggling with 'em, and all that- just habitually. Does that count?

At my school elections for Student Council members, we have to give speeches. One girl lost her voice, yet was trying to give her speech anyways. After about a minute or two of watching people laugh while watching her struggle, I went up to her and offered to read the speech for her. When she agreed, I finished the speech, and let her sit down. She eventually won the election for her spot on the Council.

I told him where I hid that guy's body when he asked me; and that's obviously a case of honesty, which is regarded as nice behavior.

I saved my friend's life this year.

We were racing trains (running over train tracks as the train speeds by to see if we can beat the train) on foot and he got pulled back by the airflow of trh train going by (pulls you two it) and had both his legs cut off almost at the genital region. If I hadnt been there, he would have been sucks under more and killed, but I pulled him away from the track and got him to a hospital. He's in a wheelchair for the rest of his life and has stumps, but he's a live.

Lets go fat man, get my name on the list. That should cover me for ten years!

I simply tell him that I freely gave my time to help others, when not physically, then with words.
And I refuse to give him any more information, as it is strictly confidential.
Then I spit blood onto his face and say he can do whatever he wants, because I don't betray those I care about.
Hopefully he'll forgive me for spitting blood onto his face >.>

"Well, Santa, I'd say the last really good thing I did was not kicking the crap out of you and taking over your whole operation as revenge for kidnapping me while I was trying to play WoW."

OT: I woke up early this morning and loaded some packages for some people so they wouldn't have to.

Uhh, only thing that springs to mind is looking after my friend for about 6 hours the other day when he had his drink spiked or something, and was lying face down in saliva.

I donated money to Desert Bus.
I almost succeeded in keeping a girl from attempting suicide. She's still recovering, but I almost stopped her.

Curse my shitty memory...

Off the top of my head today at the greengrocer I picked up a woman's things and returned them to her after she dropped them. As for something significant I just try and do a little bit of good whenever I can.

I kindly told the biggest nerd in my class that the feelings weren't mutual when he said he has a crush on me, when in my mind i was laughing so hard.

The one big thing this year:
I donated money to a family who didn't have enough, to have a funeral service and burial for their twenty-two year old son.

My year (and others) are also peppered with small things, which are also nice:
Letting people with less items cut ahead of me to the register, holding doors open, returning carts for old people, etc, etc.

"See this Santa, this is a .45 magnum. It can blow your head clean off. Now, if you don't want me making a ruckus and freeing all those elves, you best put me back in my cozy little bed...or I'll see YOU when you're sleeping"
