EA are shedding jobs at an alarming rate. If the next two CoD games sell less than this year's titles and WoW subscriptions fall even a little then Activision might start looking like a sick company without a plan to investors. Ubisoft, well, I think they did alright shoveling liquid shit onto discs and selling it to new Wii owners but people will not keep buying that forever.

I don't know about a crash but things are not looking good for a lot of companies.

I enjoyed that game thoroughly. The only thing I didnt like was the lack of storyline in gameplay and that it required the attention span of a god and the time of one, as well.

At least they've already built the basis for a pretty solid story. I'll expecting to see one once they're done with the two micro-expansions that are left.

Oh, and games that you can play while reading books are great.

Hmm, great idea. What's your favourite organization in the game?

Advent. I really like their whole concept of society, with everyone being connected, much like the Helios/JC Denton ending of Deus Ex 2.

The vasari are really interesting, with their phase technology, but I keep going back to playing advent. It's just not the same without the shields, culture and easy resource refinement/trading.

TEC. Call me unimaginative, but I just love their technological style, the way their ships look etc. Plus their the closest thing to humanity in the game, so it gives me something to relate to.

If the gaming industry was a building, the 360 would be the frame, the PS3 would be the bricks and mortar, the PC would be the wiring and plumbing and the Wii would be all the windows and the doors.

What I'm trying to say is that while the Wii is a large part if the industry, the world would be affected if every Wii on the planet dropped off the Earth for a day in the same way if every copy of MW2 on Earth were to disappear for a day; it would be catastrophic for some, but not the end of the world as we know it.
