Escapers, I call you to my aid once more.

I hate playing video games with the sound up, my neighbors, housemates etc, complain like starving animals. It's fine on the PC, for that I have a headset, but Escapers, tell me, can I get a decent headset for the TV. My TV is quite old, I'll be getting a new LCD TV soon, but I'm still worried about which headsets are compatible and which are not and the overall quality of TV headsets. So, do I go for any particular type?

On the front of my TV I have a yellow port and a white port, on the back I have red, white and yellow. I'm not sure what the TV I'm planning on getting will have though, maybe you guuys and girlscould shed some light on which ports the average new TV will have.

the tv I use for gaming has a normal port, just like iPod and mp3'players, so you could just use the PC headphones.
and if any housmates complain about the volume of the tv, just say "screw you, banana" I'm pretty sure that they will leave you alone, out of fear of catching the crazy's.

i use the turtle beach earforce x1's. They are amazing and dont plug into the tv so it doesnt matter which model you have. You just plug them into your xbox, i dont know if they work for ps3 though

Damn it.. too late to have my own star destroyer. Yeah I think all modern TVs support the same headphones a PC uses. You can always go to your local electronics store and buy a pair if we're wrong.
