I've stated this before and I'll state it again. The video game has only been mentioned because the media have a field day tieing in video games to bad things. It would as likely happened if the guy had just exercised or even if he didn't.

A dog is nearly killed by a controller, a boyfriend strangles his girlfriend with a controller, and now someone's heart spontaneously stops while playing Wii Fit. I'm telling you, those Nintendo bastards made a deal with the devil to get this level of success, and now they're suffering the consequences

Actually, for that matter, I'd be hard pressed to believe the U.K. would change anything for that matter. It may get the public riled a bit, sure, but isn't that the beauty of a constitutional monarchy? Keeping the power out of the hands of uninformed voters?

Actually, it's kinda ironic. A game designed to make you healthier makes you deader instead. (I know, Captain Obvious to the rescue!!)
But it's really "tabloid" of the Escapist to only announce one single death by WiiFit, when on the other hand countless other lives were saved by that program. If you buy that shit, you won't have money to buy greasy food or booze, or if you have, after using it you'll be too tired to do anything anyway. Problem solved!
