There is plenty of lore for league
Nasus and Renekton being brothers, Renekton blaming his brother for the destruction of Shurima, (kind of like Egypt) there is also something going on with Azir and Sivir, who are also from Shurima.
You have the Demacian army and the Noxus. Garen, Lux, Shyvana in a war with Darius, Swain and Sion and tere are a bunch of others.
You have the Freljord, Ashe's tribe, Sejuani's tribe and Lissandra's tribe.
Shurima, Demacia, Noxus and he Freljord, so much lore if u dig deep into them.
then you have characters such as Ahri, Heimer, Blitzcrank Annie etc, who have no affiliation with any of them but reading up on there lore is really interesting.
Not anymore. There used to be absolute loads of lore, character backstory, etc., all over the place.
A few months ago, however, they decided to declare ALL the lore that they've worked out so far to be non-canon. It doesn't exist anymore.
It's still on the lore pages of the champions, until its changed, that is the lore

Must mean they have something else in mind, Nasus and Renekton are the same, we see them fight int he warriors video, Garen was still the one who killed Urgot, and Wu Kong still met Master Yi, until they say different, i'm sticking by that
Uh... Dude. They DID say different. The only reason that it's even still on the pages is that they haven't bothered to delete it yet. The things that happened didn't happen.
These are all things that have been specifically stated by riot.

So what happens to the stuff getting pushed aside? It's literally being consigned to the dustbin of history.

Sounds to me it's just getting re-written they even state it will always exist and many players love it, its just getting re worded and changed a little.
So until new lore is put down on the client/website, until any change is made, the lore that we have now is the only lore that exists, and it's the only lore that matters UNTIL it's changed.
Not hard to grasp tbh. I get that they have retconned it, but nothing has replaced it as of yet, and if it's just getting changed here and there then there aren't going to be any big changes. Nasus will still be Renktons brother, Garen will undoubtedly still killed Urgot, Annie will still be a strongly gifted child with a magic Bear that can be brought to life, and Swain and Darius will still be Noxus. Simples.
