Heavy Rain Movie Snares Deadwood Writer

Sounds great. I'd love to see the movie considering I never got a chance to play the game as it's not available on the PC (don't really know many people who own a console). It also seems like the perfect kind of game to turn into a movie as it's essentially 90% based on story.

Why do this? Why?

I'm not even against it because the 'game' was an interactive movie in and of itself. I'm against this because Heavy Rain's two greatest selling points were high-end graphics and a buttload of different endings depending on your in-game choices.
In a movie, both of these are taken out of the equation as selling points, and all we're left with is a somewhat mediocre crime drama with a metric fuckton of plot holes.
