Which means it would have somewhere around average graphics for a PC game.HUBILUB said:It's a PS3 exclusive that is said to have revolutionary graphics for a console.NuclearPenguin said:It was a joke. What is this witchcraft?!
Whats heavy rain? Its raining outside but not on my pc..
And you can't just hook an analog controller that looks and behaves exactly like a PS3 controller to your PC why? I have 2 ps2 controllers and a 360 controller for my PC, they all have working analog sticks. If a game is 360 exclusive, there is a good chance of it being on the PC. If it's PS3 exclusive there is almost no chance, the 360 is the closest a console has ever come to a PC in terms of architecture.HUBILUB said:Because they are not only button-based, but you must move the analog stick to mimic movement. That would not work well with a mouse.Ertis said:The look and the story element are really interesting. Why wouldn't the gameplay work on a PC, quick-time or otherwise?HUBILUB said:It's a PS3 exclusive that focuses a lot on quick-time events. How would that implement good on a PC? Are you just disappointed because it's a good looking game? Because that is probably the only reason a PC-gamer would want it on the PC, seeing as how the gameplay is not PC-friendly.
And how would the story elements be interesting enough to want it on a PC when nothing has really been released?
You saw a trailer, thought it was epic, and now want it on the PC.
Same. Looks boring as hell to me...Internet Kraken said:Considering I have no interest in the game, not at all. I don't quite understand what's supposed to be good about it.

You took the words right out of my mouth. The game looks very boring.Internet Kraken said:Considering I have no interest in the game, not at all. I don't quite understand what's supposed to be good about it.
Yeah, because the PS3 badly needs some new exclusive IP'sHUBILUB said:It's on the PS3 for a reason.
I had Fahrenheit on the PS2 and the PC, and it's fine, there's nothing wrong with it on PC.HUBILUB said:It's a PS3 exclusive that focuses a lot on quick-time events. Well that's not entirely correct to use that example, as Halo is a Microsoft owned franchise, and seeing it on a platform owned by a different company would be ludicrous. While Quantic Dream have made nothing but multiplat titles until now, and since the (spiritual) predecessor, Fahrenheit was multiplatform, I imagine he's annoyed Heavy Rain isn't multiplatform as well. And while I doubt it for this one, games can be ported.IdealistCommi said:No.
That is like saying "It sucks that Halo 3 is not on the PS3". Sure the system can run it, but the develpoers built it on one system, so it comes out for one system.
I find it sad how many people trivialize Heavy Rain's interactivity-ness-ess without actually looking beyond the interactivity.jboking said:It's a ps3 exclusive and always has been, so if you didn't have a ps3 and yet hyped yourself up for this game then...yeah. Anyway, I have a ps3 and I'm not interested in this game in the least. It just seems boring according to the dtoid preview I caught wind of.

yeah, no.
A bit much, don't you think? The man can still be a tad disappointed the game isn't coming to PC, even if it's been known since the PS3 was released that it was going to that console. If it was a long winded rant that QD stabbed him in the back, then fair enough, but...Jumplion said:Tough.
Buy a PS3 if you want to play the game so badly, I don't care if you "don't have any money" or "the PS3 is (somehow) too expensive!" or whatever damn excuse you can think of, buy the damn hardware if you want to play the game.
No point bitching and moaning about Heavy Rain not coming to PC, so what, you think your complaining will actually do anything about it? It's not going to PC as of this time, and most likely won't, as most console exclusives tend to just stay on consoles.
Which is PRECISELY why it's not on PC.HUBILUB said:It's a PS3 exclusive that is said to have revolutionary graphics for a console.NuclearPenguin said:It was a joke. But I seriously dont know what Heavy Rain is.Ertis said:I don't even...NuclearPenguin said:What is what not on the pc?

I'm not sugar-coating it, I'm being as blunt as I want to be with this.ChromeAlchemist said:A bit much, don't you think?
