Heavy Rain Question

I beat Heavy Rain the other day and found out that the killer is [spoiler/]Scott [/spoiler]
But I wonder if he dies in the game, what ends up happening? Does anyone alse know.

I went back to a couple of the previous chapters:

the corner store holdup near the beginning and the big shootout in the mansion near the end

In both cases, even when I tried to get him killed he survived. I wonder if it's the same for his other chapters?

Yea in the car i just put my controller down and did nothing. after a minute it skipped to him on the river bed [spoiler/] holding Lurans body [/spoiler] I guess you just cant kill the fucker
