This year at E3 there were people out side with signs reading 'Hell id not a game' and 'EA= Electronic Anti-Christ' because of the representation of Hell in "Dante's Inferno'. Why is this such a big deal? I don't remember anyone having issues with how hades or the other mythological sights were represented in 'God of War', or when, in all intensive purposes, Kratos climbed out of Hell, Hades, or what ever you'd like to refer to it as. So why the big deal? How many other games depicted hell the same way?! How do you feel about the negetive press?

I just want to know why they took the name of an incredible poem and used it for a mediocre videogame.

Because there's no copyright to stop it, probably. And hell is a provocative subject.

the fact that hades isn't a problem is because people don't really believe in it but to them an all powerfull god is much more believeable

I have lost what little respect I still had for EA.
They are in the negatives for me buddy
Come on, the negatives should be reserved for Activision.
True, both Activision and EA have reserved slots in hell. Especially Activision for whoring out CoD to Treyarch, which is entirely staffed by retarded chimps taught how to bang on a keyboard with their toes.

Is that a real question? Because the game is about the poem "Dante's Inferno"..

Well that's even worse. They've taken the entire poem and used it as a shallow plot device in a horribly average game.

Well they've only used the first part of the Divine Comedy, a journey through hell is a good idea for a game and from what I've seen it looks alright.

yeah I never really got that. SO one thing with all the power is more realistic than multiple things with limited power?

No, it isn't.
It's very loosely based on a summary of the poem someone read on Wikipedia and told to the game creators.
Yeah, if the game was about Dante's Inferno, it would pretty much be just a walking simulator with some interesting scenery.

Who knows, it might turn out good. I'm getting it. It's by the studio inside EA (I forgot the name) that made Dead Space, which I enjoyed. Dante's Inferno isn't an action based poem, but I hope they can make it fun.
