Hell Rising is like Urban dead only with faster AP regeneration. 5AP per 5 minutes. It's zombies, Humans, and Vampires. It's a free game and I play it everyday. Something definitely worth checking out.
Scroll Wars is more like a medieval RPG with castles and swords and the Green Dragon. It wouldn't be scroll wars without scrolls and to that end the scrolls are unique items (one of each in the game) that provide massive benefits.
In both there is a lively player community which you can check out at www.overlordforums.com
It's wacky but it's a delightful kind of wacky. The trolls are professionals. Most of the people however will be more then happy to help you. Check them out and tell me what you think.
