The week before wrestling season (as all wrestlers or creepy old men would know) is called hell week, because of the intese conditioning. I have to say, it's only Tuesday, and it sucks. What is the hardest you've ever worked out?

Working out for wrestling used to be brutal. Wall Chair and Bridges used to hurt like mad the next day.

I used to take a weight lifting class back in high school. Dips were the hardest thing for me to do.

They call that Hell Week? I've only ever heard it used as the week before a play is showing, all the last-minute stuff, memorizing of lines, rehearsals...I'll tell ya, that's a pretty good workout too. I've worked up a sweat just because I had to perfect my 'smile and wave' for a few hours, as I was playing a business man.

The Wolverine Workout. :D
The guys in my house attempted it for a week, it ended in deflated male egos and ice cream and movie time.

Hockey training during the summer is usually brutal. 4 days a week, 3 hours a day. Half is on land for conditioning, half is on ice for skill work.

We lost 4 Football games in a row, had an entire day dedicated to workout. THAT day was Saturday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Needless to say, we lost the next game and the coach was fired. The lol-tastic thing was that it was Highschool games.

Just reading this thread is making me feel tired...

I will get fit again. One day. I think the most strenuous exerxise I've done was either climbing up mountains in Norway, or the days leading up to my Aikido gradings, and the gradings themselves.

Since summer began though, my fitness has gone way downhill. I'd kinda like to take up boxing. Seems like a good way to get fit, and learn on the way. I tried the gym and found it boring, but maybe that's cos I wasn't very well motivated

Same here. Although our season started yesterday. I was sick and it turns out my physical never got turned in so I got to sit on my ass and coach for an hour and a half today after peer tutoring. Tomorrow will be fun. Mostly conditioning then cut out a half-hour early then on to judo to workout for another two hours.

Hmm... I am skinny, not fat, skinny. I also don't have much muscle mass on me. So I weigh at most 150 pounds.

This workout you speak of is something I did once... I seem to have forgotten this ancient ritual, what does it protect you from?
