Does any of you guys have any insight about Grotesque Tactics:Evil Heroes ?
I found that while I was browsing steam, Its on 70% discount (4.75$)
I already feel bad for asking advice for such a cheap game, when it costs less than pack of ciggaretes..
But thats what forums are about right? So if anyone have any clue about this game, his feedback would be really appreciated !!!

Have you tried googling it? Gamefaqs? Youtube let's play? Someone's bound to have played it and talked about it. Also doesn't Steam have a forum for its games? (or is that just for the big titles?)

So I typed in "grotesque tactics evil heroes" into google and I got a bunch of links for the game. There's even a youtube video review. I have not played it tho so I can't comment on personally. Seems kinda interesting.

i played it and loved it. it plays a lot like Final Fantasy Tactics, but with infinitely better writing. however, it still suffers some translation issues. it's fairly short, but lots of fun for how long it lasts. and at the price it sells for on Steam (especially if you get it on sale) it's totally worth it.

I tried it, it's badly translated and there's many failings, but for a parody turn based strategy/RPG kind of thing, it's still quite fun and worth the few quid it costs while on sale, tho I wouldn't have dropped the original £15 or whatever on it.

What are you talking about, FFT writing was great! They had so many characters you had to play thru it 2-3 times to figure out who the hell everyone was. REPLAY VALUE!

ehhh, i loved FFT, but i would never say it was well written. granted, maybe a lot was lost in mistranslation, but even then the story was somewhat bland and cliched.

...on the other hand, i suspect you may be being sarcastic/facetious.

It's very generic, easy and not anywhere near as funny as I hoped it would be. Also you revisit the same locations multiple times.
