-------Lust
Lust flipped backwards as his rapier flipped up one of the khopeshes. he twisted the rapier, making it impossible for Valentina to hold onto her weapon. he threw his rapier into the air, flipping end over end. he punched the hand holding the other khopesh. he grabbed the rapier in the air and slashed at Valentina's chest. the wound healed almost instantly. as Valentina bent over, hands over her chest, Lust started talking. "the road of Lust is about being graceful and using your very body as a weapon. Never forget, even if you have no weapons on you, you can still fight. Never forget that. Now stand, you are not injured. Injuries heal immediately in hell."

Despite his garantuan arrogance, hee actuallydisplays considerble inteligene and physical power, which only serves to bolster his pride.
When Armageddon came, LAncelot was drawn to his natural ally, Pride, seeing in him all the aspects which he respected: confidence, self assurance, and endless style.Since entering Pridesservice, he has been only further impressed by the Generalslac of respect for anyone else, and his drive to defeat all his enimies, depite the moral cost

Hows that?
hey threewords. it's good, but there's one problem: Pride does not have a champion. He is the original and strongest sin, so he does not need one. Envy is still open though, as is Gluttony. However, if you really wish to keep this character, i can change it. which do you perfer?
If you don't mind, can you change it so I can be Pride's champion?
few things you gotta fix first though. 1: Fix the grammar. seriously, it gave me a headache reading it. 2:As is, you have to fix the bio. the only way you would be able to see the demons is if Pride had offered you life when you were about to die.

Valentina coughed, clutching the skin on her chest as it healed instantly. With a devilish look, she replied, "Funny. You'd think they'd only be more painful in hell."

She hesitated, then swooped down toward the ground and retrieved both khopesh, and stood again in a fighting stance. Darting forward, she waved each of the rapiers away and to the side with her own blades, and jumped, literally running up against Lust's chest before kicking him in the chin with her heel and moving into a back flip. She landed smoothly, before lunging again with the khopesh in her right hand, pressing its cool steel curve against his neck.

"Come on, cowboy."

Grammer fixed, but I don'tunderstand the problem with the bio. Do you mean that I shouldn't be able to see Pride, or should I have some kind of near-death experience to allow Pride to contact me?

(Also, forgive the occasional lack of spaces. My spacebar is failing slightly)

both. if Pride has not saved your life, you can neither see nor interact with demons and angels, nor become Pride's champion.

-------Lust
Feeling the cold steel, Lust smirked. "Good! I like a girl who can take control in a relationship." Using the brief moment that the comment bought him, he elbowed her in the gut, flipped her hand up and grabbed her by the waist, upside down. he threw her, sending her a good 20 feet. "Remember, playing with your opponent's emotions always helps in battle. he flipped both wrists in a show-off kind of way, and the rapiers reappeared.

dammit? how on earth are a bunch of kids beating the 7 mortal sins? This is pathetic! Man, the devil's falling behind. :)

Lust must have been distracted by the ladies. What a slacker. ;p

Valentina scowled, twisting her body in the air and landing in a crouch, sliding upon the ground for a foot or so before stopping. Her grip on the khopesh loosened, and they fell from her hands, vanishing before they struck the ground.

She sighed, appearing in pain. Her lower lip trembled slightly, her eyes large and glimmering. She stalked toward Lust, her head tilted, lips pouted.

"What's the point of this?" she murmured in a sexy, sultry whisper, with a bit of hurt. She approached Lust and placed a hand on his chest. "Why are you trying to change me into something I'm not?" She reached up and ran a finger over his lips, her skin like velvet. Her other hand ran over his chest, over the shoulder, and toward his back.

In a soft rush of fire, the khopesh appeared in her hand again, and slid smoothly into Lust's back until she could feel the tip of the blade poke gently against her own stomach, through his.

She smiled innocently. "What do you really want, out of little old me?"

"So, anyways, as she atta-"

"But didn't you say she never attacked you at all?"

"Oh yes, *Wink* she never *Wink* attacked me *Wink* whatsoever. So anyways, I killed this demon, who turned out to be Wrath's bodyguard, and Wrath comes and attacks me."

"Okay..."

"And he ran after me, but all I could do was run. Wrath was about to catch me, but then he realized we had just been running in a circle around the block for half an hour. He got bored, and left."

"Yes... and now you're back here?"

"Yes."

"Umm... I hate to be mean, but WERE YOU TRIPPING BALLS OR SOMETHING?" Eddie, Jack's friend, stood up and walked away.

"Oh man, they always do that!"

I'm back! You have to admit, that was a pretty funny way to clear up my mistake, AND move the plot forwards.

"That crook gives you special powers of manipulation. It allows you to make people follow your lead, like a shepherd leads his flock." Raphael explained to Carlyle.

"That seems a bit... evil." Carlyle said, nervously.

"No, no, it's not. You don't force people to follow you. it jsut makes people more inclined to do so." Raphael explained."Here, you can test it."

At that, Raphael summoned an average looking man.

"Give him a command." Raphael orders Carlyle.

"Okay. You, Make me some toast. With marmite." Carlyle commands the man.

"No, that won't work. He won't just do random tasks for you." Raphael tells him.

"Okay, then. Sir, follow me." Carlyle tells the man, as he exits his house. The man follows, and Carlyle leads the man all around town.

'Good, now that you have that down, you are almost ready. Now, you must learn to spot the infernals around you."

Curtis sat waiting, continuing to polish his weapon. It was now late into the night, and there were no signs of the Archangel Michael showing up. Maybe they wouldn't be coming after all, and it had just been a very real dream... no. No, it was not a dream. It was real.

Good to see your faith is so strong Curtis.

Curtis looked around. He was no longer in his room, but was in an empty white arena with a set of gates opposite him.

However, strong faith will not be enough to fight the Champions of Hellfire. You will also need skill, intellect, and strategy.

The gates swung open, and three men entered from it. They each bore a sword, and were faceless.

This will be your initial test. You will be using skill to take down one of the three faceless angels in a test of your mastery of your weapon. But first...

Curtis looked at his weapon, and was shocked to see it glow first blue, then white, then vanish altogether. He stared at his hands in horror, willing it back into existence. To his shock, it reappeared, and glowed faintly blue as he held it. It was exquisite. He felt as if something that he had never seen had been missing from it, and though he had never known it was missing, he now felt happy at it's restoration.

The first faceless angel stepped forwards. It ran clumsily at him with it's sword above his head. He grasped the weighted end of his kusarigama, and span it at the angel's hand. It coiled around the hand, and Curtis jerked the sickle end backwards, causing the chain to tighten and the angel to drop the sword. It vanished, leaving the remaining two angels in the arena with Curtis.

Very good Curtis. Now we move on to the other two angels...

I'm a little unclear on what to do, but I've planned this scene out anyway. I'm not doing it in one go, because that would just end up being way too long.

As Eddie walked out the door, Jackson heard a voice.

"Hello there."

"Archangel Raphael?"

"No,it's Gabriel. Raphel is with someone, but I decided I could pencil you in. Let's go." Suddenly, the apartment dissapeared, and Jack now saw he was in a large, grassy field. "Alright, Mr. Phillips. Time to show you about infernals." Out of nowhere, three people appeared. A man, a woman, and a dog. "These are the main infernal grunts used to challenge us in our holy ordeals." One by one, the people and the dog turned into infernals. "You will not be able to tell them apart at first, because you are fairly inexperienced. But if you look closely, you will be able to notice them."

"Alright, easy peasy. What next?"

"Now, my friend, you train."

-----Lust
Lust smiled. "very good." He disappeared in a flash of black smoke. He reappeared behind her. " Something you're not. Funny, seeing as you just tried seducing me and would have killed me without a second thought. Now, to show the world you belong to me and me alone." He kissed Valentina's left shoulder. the Mark of Lust appeared. He clapped his hands and they reappeared inside Valentina's apartment. "Remember this, young one. your greatest allies in this fight will be Wrath and Envy. they are the ones who lead to most lust, and therefore will make you stronger."

Anyone wanna guess why i'm always picking the left shoulder?

Because everyone knows left is the kinkier side.

Valentina drew a sharp breath as she felt Lust pull the neck of her shirt down slightly, and his lips touch her shoulder, his skin ice cold. The Mark spread with an eerie sensation, like freezing fire rushing over her back. The feeling left as fast as it came, but left her a little shaken. Determined to keep her cool composition, she steadied her breath and turned to face Lust.

Silently, she nodded, allowed the blades in her hands to vanish. "What will you have me do now, then? Is there a particular thorn in your side?" She paused, then her eyes narrowed. "God... has warriors like myself, doesn't he?"

Lust smiled sadly. "Unfortunately, yes. Why else would i train you? Don't get killed. Lust stroked her face. "You know, unlike the others, i can deal with a little bit of passion. i like it actually. so tell me, what's wrong?"

The second faceless angel stepped forwards. Curtis gripped his kusarigama again, and waited for it to attack.

It raised it's sword, and ran forwards in a way identical to the first angel. Curtis again lashed out with the weighted end of his weapon, and it coiled around it the same as the first time. Curtis was puzzled. This was the same challenge again...

Don't underestimate your opponents.

As the chain tightened, the sword dropped out of the angel's hand. However, this time the angel's other hand shot out and caught it, and continued to run towards Curtis, this time with it more precisely aimed at his neck.

Curtis blocked it with the sickle with the sword mere inches from his neck. The angel collided with him, and knocked him heavily onto the ground. Curtis went white. Could he die here, where he was just being trained?

Then, he mentally shook himself. He was still gripping the chain with his left hand, with it still latched around the angel's wrist. It was doing nothing for him, as at this range the chain part most likely wouldn't help. He released the chain, and reached out.

He gripped the faceless angel around the neck. His grip was strong, and as it went on, he could feel the angel's strength going. After 30 seconds, it too vanished, the sword with it.

Curtis got up unsteadily. He had underestimated his opponent, and it had resulted in what could have been his death. He wouldn't be doing that again.

I hope you learned from that. Appearances can be deceptive, and an apparently amateur opponent can be very dangerous indeed. Now, we move on to round three...

"Spotting the Infernal Horde is possibly the most important part of your training. Look out into the town. What do you see?" Raphael asks Carlyle.

"I see... people. Just, people." Carlyle responds, sadly.

"Look closer. Look at the eyes, and the air around their bodies." Raphael instructs him.

So, Carlyle looked very closely. After about a minute, he sees a man, in a standard suit and tie. But something is different. The air around him seems... darker. And his eyes seem to shine more so than others.

"That man. In the black suit." Carlyle tells Raphael.

"Good. He is just a low level imp. Not worth wasting our time now. But, you know what to look for in infernals in order to spot them. Your training is complete. You will be contacted as needed. Goodbye, as I must attend to others." Raphael tells him, as he steps into a portal.

Valentina eyed him coldly before turning away. She was the one who toyed with the emotions of the other sex. She was beginning to realize what that felt like, and it disturbed her slightly.

But just a little.

Taking a breath, she said, "I thought I was done killing people. Seducing them, robbing them, no- but killing, yes." A faint smile struck her luscious lips. "But I guess it's true what they say- people never change."

She turned, her eyes locked onto his. "I'm fine. Where will you have me begin?"

Crap........Sorry I've not been posting, long story short Nazi Zombies can eat up a weekend if you and your friends are trying to reach level 30 on Der Riese

Van looked at Greed. He instantly saw the great many jewels and decorations that adorned him. He generally enjoyed his company; they both thought alike and had similar desires in life. Van also thought they both had a good appreciation of the finer things in life.

"Ahh my time of service is upon me, I will of course fulfill my end of the bargain. After all the perks that come with this job are...well to die for." He chuckled at his own joke.

"However Greed, before we embark on our whirlwind adventure, I have a proposition for you. In the city, the Vatican has sent some of their most prized artifacts to be displayed in the museum. Their most prized artifacts are sitting there all alone without any company. I think they could make fine additions to our respective collections and besides, some might actually have some holy power and frankly it would do us good to deny our opponents those kinds of weapons."

"So....What do you think?"

I figured a high stakes theft would be a good way to introduce Greed and Van's working dynamic.
