Help a fellow escapist out.

Here's the thing, I need to make extra 250-300$/month. I have a full time job as a sushi chef in Russia (the pay is 250$/month) but it just doesn't cut my expenses. I need a way to make that extra money on line (I have a very thigh schedule uni and a 12 hour job) If anyone could give me some advice, or/and personal experience tips it would help immensely

EDIT: let me clarify, I'm in russia on a student visa, and i cannot get a work permit. So consider me working as a chef illegal. I found that work through a friend. So another job or a second job is not an option. Also 250$/month for russia is a pretty standard pay.

I'd say find a better job. I don't make enough at my job to cover all my bills and have money for anything else, so I'm on the lookout for a better one.

Well I know how to use photoshop pretty well. I could design skins and themes for websites.

Unfortunately, it sounds to me like you're either going to have to drop something, or take up loans. And both of those options suck big time, granted.

I don't know where you're living, but if you're paying for it and you've got a relative you could live with for free, you might consider that. If not, you could consider finding more roommates if you've got the space, or at the very least looking for a cheaper place.

If you've got other services, like cable TV for instance, that you can afford to cut, then do it.

See if there are any assistance programs you qualify for in your area or with your university. If nothing else, there are probably some churches that'd help you out.

Don't go looking online. It's really unlikely that you'll find something where you can actually make good money. There is no such thing as an easy dollar in the real world.

Other than that, keep your head up. I know that stuff like what you're going through sucks big time, but somehow or other you'll get through it. Once you finish university hopefully things will get better.

Oooh in Russia that's a LOT of extra money you need. Some people don't even get paid that much for serious jobs.

unfortunatly most of the escapists (i would imagine) are in the US, the EU, or the australasias... i doubt there will be many of us in russia or with experience of it...

3 Options. Ask for a raise, donate sperm as much as possible, and donate blood twice per week.

Try applying for a welfare payment if you can't do this stuff, but don't stay on it too long or you'll have a lot to pay back, and they don't exactly make it easy on you.

You could always do it through Deviantart, and use PayPal. I don't know much about free lancing, but it probably does make more sense...

What I'm saying is that I don't think you'll even be able to find that much online. At least, not with a reputable employer. I guess you could do eBay trading or get really involved in stocks and microtransactions and all the other shit that makes me want to punch Wallstreet in the face, but even those things take either a fair amount of effort, or a willingness to put your ethics behind you. And none of them will give you a guaranteed paycheck either.
