Hello escapist.. it?s a sad, sad day in my gaming spectrum I?m not the kind of person to beg and I know this isn?t the right place for this but I?ve tried craigslist and freecycle and no dice, now I?ll just cut to the chase and tell you guys what I?m asking for, a good 8 months ago my power brick randomly surged out after painful weeks of no gaming a mustered up enough cash for a replacement. This is where major dumbassery kicks in I managed to spill milk on my power brick.. 3 days after buying it I would buy another, but I live alone and the little money I make I have to put towards bill and food.. I?m not trying to ?move? you guys with my sob story or anything also I?m not asking for anyone to drop what they?re doing to help me, my power brick failure happened on my fault, so you shouldn?t feel bad about me anyway

But if you do have a spare Xbox 360 power cable and live in the Philadelphia area message me and I;l give you my address and stuff

Happy gaming (NOTE: I am aware this may contain grammatical errors.. I?m terrible at grammar. (Maybe I?m better off without an Xbox eh,)

My car just broke down last week and I need to buy a new one.
It would be nice if you awesome people on the Escapist could pitch in and give what you can. I'm sure that with your help, I'll be cruising through the streets again in no time.

My original xbox doesn't have any controllers for it because my older brother broke them all in fits of rage at various games over the years.
It would sure be nice if someone donated some controllers to me so I could play Mech Assault and Enclave once again.

Unfortunately Power Bricks isn't the sort of item people have two of in their house in working condition, normally its just one working power brick, and possibly a broken one that they forgot to throw out. I have one in my house, but its dead and I'm in the UK, so of no use to you (or me).

have you tried Freecycle?
