Please help me, I'm trying to figure out the Greek word meaning "to turn into a constellation". Random, I know but its very important.

I've read the word before while reading the story of the Greek Mythological Character Atlanta. After reading several versions of the story, I still have yet to find the word and I need to figure it out.

In the story, the god Zeus turns Atlanta and Melanion into lions but later realizes the error his ways and turns them into a constellation. In greek mythology, this is like making someone immortal as I understand it.

I hope I've given enough information, please feel free to ask questions or let me know if I've missed something.
One version of the story is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atalanta

Can anyone help me?

Edit: A more finite definition would be "when a god turns a mortal person or thing into a constellation.

Well, I don't know if this helps, but I looked up an English to Greek translator and got:
Δεν βρέθηκαν λέξεις.

I think, but next time before looking at the escapist as an online dictionary look up a real online dictionary or wikipedia first.

I've been looking for a long time, trust me. This was not the first place I looked but I figured the escapist was full of intelligent, nice people and they woulden't mind. Especially seeing how obscure this word is.

Definitely good, but unfortunately not the word I'm looking for, hopefully I'll be able to use this to find the correct word however. Thanks for the help! I only wish I had any idea what the word was, at least that would give me a better base...

And next time, try to make fewer assumptions while giving advice.
