Help choosing a game

Get Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I haven't played Child of Eden and Catherine was fun it just wasn't Deus Ex fun.
Never heard of Child of Eden so that might be an interesting one.
I'd recommend Deus Ex though 'cause if the public is any indication then it's your safest bet for having a good time.

Deus ex being an action heavy story driven game. (I think the story is supposed to be good? o-o)
Catherine having a puzzling gameplay, but has a terrific story and is interesting in dealing with the issue of relationships.
I have no idea what Child of Eden is like except I'm sure it has lots of bright and fantastic colors. (I'm not saying you shouldn't get it, I just don't want to do research to find out more about it)
I'd definitely be torn between Deus ex and Catherine, but I already got Catherine and it was a thrill ride in terms of story. Deus ex looks to be more killing and action driven than Catherine's puzzles. So basically it comes down to the game play that you like.
Seriously though this comparison is like comparing Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Inception. Both really good films, but have drastically different styles.
I got Deus Ex HR today, playing it right now. I can sum up my opinion so far in a pretty simple way: it's fucking good.
Get Deus Ex. I haven't seen my brother this excited about a game in over a year.
I hear it's good. Catherine sounds like the kind of game which would have been better as a show. From what I've seen the gameplay and the story don't gel too well, they co-exist but they don't really help each other.
It seems to me like I would (and by extention you may be) stuck playing the game bits to get through to the movies at the end.
Also I'm not massive on puzzle games or platformers, so maybe ignore my advice.
Oh yeah, Child of Eden.... I'd never get in instead of another game. I'd get it as well as if you already had all the decent games out at the moment and had paid off a pre-order on all the upcoming games.
