Help for a friend

No its not me.. no really.. ¬_¬

I have a friend who is just starting out in photoshop (cs2) and when she uploads anything it becomes noticibly lighter for some reason. I used to have this issue myself but it was solved by a previous forum who's topic was deleted.

Any help is appreciated, if you want more infomation i can ask her but a responce may not be too speedy, sorry for the scarcity of current info.

Its hard to tell with no information. Its possible that she was working in CMYK colour, and converted to RGB for the upload, or vice versa.

I asked, shes already in RGB unfortuneatly. Thanks anyway.
