Help! iPod 69 error.

My iPod is getting the 69 error, and when I try to resync the whole iPod becomes unreadable to my PC. I have found 'problematic files' but they have just as easily synced up after (many) iPod restorations. Umm, I've spent a lot of time trying to fix it (two hours a day T_T) and would reallllyy appreciate some help.

Follow up: Seems like a really general error. Some re-sync, some tap the play button (very strange), and some people say it's specific to VIA mobos.

Also whenever I try to sync mine, Itune freezes and won't unfreeze until I unplug it. WTF?
