Help Me Choose

I need help deciding between the PC or the 360 version of Fallout 3. I would normally get the PC version but I am unsure my computer could run the game well. The last thing I want is to pay a heavy sum and then find out my computer can not run it. But then the I remind myself that Mods might be made for the PC version. So I am stuck.

I would go with PC and, if needed, upgrade.
That's mainly because it would be foolish of me to buy a 360 game when I don't own a 360.

I have the same problem, and I am just going to upgrade my PC. It's totally worth it for the mods. Plus, with a better PC, other games will run better/at all.

Find out the specs, upgrade as necisary, and get it for PC. If for some reason you can't afford the upgrade you need, get the 360 version, but PC all the way pretty much for mods.

Yes, that could become a problem.

Depends a lot on your budget. If you're going to need a lot of parts for a new computer to play the game well, then it might be (financially) better to get the 360 version, however you won't have access to mods.

I'm getting the Xbox360 version, because my computer coughs and spits just playing Fallout 3 trailers, and also I'm terrible with WASD controls.

EDIT: Did Bethesda ever release system requirements for the game?

I have no reason to get anything for the 360. I have a terrible setup for it.
My couch is shifted 90 degrees off, my TV is crappy and old, and I like the PC controls more than the 360.

Did I mention the mods?

Hey, good idea. Everyone report Nilc- You know what. I'm not going to finish that sentence.

Anyway, apparently you can mod stuff on the PC so go with that. Myself, playing with keyboard and mouse I'm on equal grounds with a monkey banging it on a rock, and due to a superduper slow computer, I'll leave to my 360 to handle. Ah bless. Takes out all the hard work.
