Help me come to a decision on which of these 3 games to buy.

Borderlands has tons more to do, and multiplayer is great as well. It does have its glitches, a lackluster story, and problems with modders online. I've played thru 3 times single player, its a great time.

L4D2 is amazing and even better than the first. I love the online mp, but with only 4 campaigns it can get kind of repetative for me.

I can't weigh-in on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. because i've never played it.

My vote: Borderlands just because i think it has the best/most replay value.

I've been looking to pick up a new game soon, but my funds are limited, so I'm trying to make a careful decision. Anyone care to share opinions on which of these games I should get?

Left 4 Dead 2-I hardly ever play games online because multiplayer simply doesn't interest me. But, as I played the first one and loved it, I'm sure I'd get alot of play time out of this, online and off. I played the demo and loved, seems like a good sequel.

Borderlands-As a huge RPG fan I'm intrigued by the "FPS and RPG made a baby" angle. I'm wondering if it has a good story or not. I'm somewhat of a story snob, but I'm willing to excuse a bad/lacking story in the face of great gameplay (Left 4 Dead). Most of my friends don't have this, so I'll likely play through most of it alone.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:Call of Pripyat-This one I'd obviously be getting for PC as opposed to the 2 above for xbox. I loved the first one, good balance of difficulty and spooky atmosphere, but I'm not sure if I want to shell out the cash just to do that again. I might just hold for Metro 2033 because that game is going to be tubular.

Golly gosh, I almost never play shooters, and now I'm debating over which of 3.

Any advice or opinions on which I should get is appreciated.

None of them and get BC2 lol but if it has to be out of these would say borderlands is a good game and keeps you busy for a week or so

I sank hours into Borderlands mainly single player then sank further hours into the DLC.

Still going through it despite getting everything unlocked

borderlands only if you have friends to play with. otherwise the single player is boring as fuck.

L4D2 and Borderlands haven't got much of a story, so if you want a good story stay away. They fun for a while but you can do better.
I haven't played the new STALKER but it's ment to be a improvement over Clear Sky.

I enjoyed all 3 of those games, but It really depends on your play-style.
Do you like Killing hordes of zombies? get L4D2
Do you like a funny plot-line with millions of awesome guns? get Borderlands
Do you like fighting for survival, living off of scraps of food and fearing for your life? get STALKER: CoP

I have all three. I hardly play L4D2 because people are just crappy, Borderlands I love, but if you have either of the previous 2 STALKER games you get the new one for 20 bucks in Steam which I did. I would say get STALKER, it looks great, great atmospheric game, and you can always wait till the new expansion for L4D2 comes out and see if theres some sort of sale.

Borderlands would be my choice but its all about personal opinion, i dont know about stalker,
but in borderlands and L4D2 multiplayer are heavily stresses.

Borderlands was dull, boring, repetive and had a bad story. You should not buy it, replace that empty spot with Mass Effect 2 instead :]
